Body Stain refers to a high-temperature ceramic pigment in powder form, designed to be mixed directly into the clay body. This process changes the color of the clay from within. When a transparent glaze is applied, the piece will have a consistent color throughout. Even if the clay body wears down or is polished, the color will remain the same. It is suitable for hand-building, sculptural work, and ceramic pieces where the clay body's surface is intended to be visible.
