Amaco Celadon Glaze, 472 ml
This 100% intermixable Celadon glaze creates a deep, translucent gray that flows and pools in textured areas, highlighting the surface of sculptural work, much like the antique glazes it is designed to emulate.
* Fires at Cone 5 (1207 °C) or Cone 6 (1243 °C)
We recommend applying at least 2-3 coats by brushing to achieve the desired effect as shown in the examples.
- If you're captivated by legendary glazes like Celadon, Amaco offers this glaze as well.
- Celadon glazes are translucent and become darker in crevices or recessed areas of the piece.
- Ideal for pieces with uneven surfaces as it helps to highlight the surface of the work.
- Can be applied over glazes from different series that fire at the same temperature.
- Within the Celadon series itself, glazes can also be layered over each other.
