PATEX-103 Clay Extruder Gun 12 Dies is a tool for quickly and consistently extruding clay into various desired shapes and lines. It is commonly used for making decorative elements, handles for pottery, or clay coils for sculptural work.
How to Use
- Select and Insert the Die: Choose the desired shape disc (e.g., round, square, flat, or hollow tube) and insert it into the end of the threaded cap, then tighten it securely.
- Load the Clay: Form the clay into a cylindrical rod that fits snugly into the extruder barrel.
- Extrude the Clay: Squeeze the handle or twist the plunger (depending on the extruder's mechanism) to apply pressure and force the clay out in lines according to the selected die pattern.
Advantages
- 100% Consistent Clay Strips: The extruded clay will have a smooth and uniform thickness and shape throughout its length, saving time and reducing difficulty compared to hand-rolling each strip.
- Versatile for Creative Work: Comes with 12 different dies, allowing you to use the clay strips to make handles for cups, create coiled pottery, make hair/clothing for sculpted dolls, or freely decorate the edges of your work.
- Durable and Easy to Clean: The barrel and mechanism are typically made from metal or aluminum, making them strong and durable enough to withstand pressure. They can also be easily disassembled and cleaned to remove clay residue after use.
