- Firing Temperature: Cone 06 or approximately 1010°C (1850°F)
- Gives a dark, highly reflective metallic surface, and may develop green or blue iridescence depending on the reduction process.
- Not food safe (Non-toxic but for Decorative use only) as the raku surface has low durability and is prone to flaking when exposed to acids or food. Recommended for decorative pieces only.
Application Technique: Shake the bottle and stir the glaze thoroughly. Apply to bisque-fired pieces. It is recommended to use clay types that can withstand sudden temperature changes well to reduce breakage. Apply 3 coats, as thinner applications often give a clearer and more beautiful metallic effect than overly thick applications.
