Designed to create a raised, cracked, high-texture surface. The thicker it is applied, the more distinct the surface pattern and dimension will be. Mudcrack can be applied directly to bisque or used in combination with other mid-range glazes.
Firing at Cone 6 in Oxidation (Image 1):
Dark Magma is a high-texture charcoal glaze that creates a cratered, pockmarked surface. The thicker the glaze is applied, the more textured and dimensional the surface will be.
Firing at Cone 10 in Reduction (Image 2):
The rough texture will flatten slightly, and the glaze color remains unchanged.
