Speckled Stroke & Coat® is a rich, thick, pigmented glaze suitable for both brush strokes and opaque glazes. It can create intricate, detailed patterns and allows the paint to adhere without flowing.
The highlight is that the color while in liquid form is similar to the color after firing, allowing the artist to visualize the finished work from the moment of work.
Speckled Stroke & Coat® has many of the same properties as the popular Stroke & Coat® formula, but with added Tiny colored dots (Specks) add fun and visual dimension.
When fired at Cone 5/6 and above, these colored spots will melt and flow slightly, especially the lighter colored spots tend to fade or disappear when fired at Cone 5/6 and above.
