PCF-21 Ocean Drift is a soft blue glaze with subtle dark specks that add depth and visual interest, evoking the tranquil movement of ocean currents. It works well with other glazes as a base or top coat and is beautiful on all clay colors.
Potter's Choice Flux (PCF) 473 ml
Fires at Cone 5 (1207 ํC) or Cone 6 (1243 ํC)
Brushing application is recommended; apply at least 2-3 coats to achieve the sample effect.
PCF-21 Ocean Drift is a tranquil blue glaze with fine, dark specks throughout, adding depth and visual interest. It is ideal for use as a base coat or layered with other glazes and looks beautiful on all clay colors.
It is suitable for firing at Cone 5 and will exhibit increased flow when fired at Cone 6.
Instructions:
Shake well before use. Water and AMACO® Gum Solution may be added if necessary. Apply 3 even coats to bisque-fired ware (Cone 04), allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Fire to Cone 5–6.
Due to potential variations in raw materials between production batches, it is recommended to fire a test piece before actual use with each new batch of glaze.
