Used for finely grinding and mixing ceramic raw materials (e.g., clay powder, glazes, or slips) to achieve a homogeneous consistency efficiently. This is done through the impact of grinding media (balls) inside a rotating cylindrical barrel driven by a motor.
How to use:
- Open the lid of the ball mill barrel and add the grinding media (e.g., alumina balls or porcelain balls) into the barrel according to the specified quantity.
- Add the raw material powder, water, and various chemicals to be ground or mixed into the barrel (supports a maximum total weight of 50 kg). Then close the barrel lid and lock it securely to prevent leakage.
- Check the belt and electrical system. Plug in or turn on the switch to start the motor, causing the barrel to rotate. This allows the balls to impact and grind the materials to the desired fineness for the required duration.
- Once the specified time has elapsed, turn off the machine. Drain all the slip or ground material. Then clean the inside of the barrel and the balls with clean water.
