Add Gum Solution to glazes to improve brushability and extend drying time, resulting in a smoother, more even glaze application.
Old, thick glaze can be restored to its original creamy consistency by first thinning the glaze with distilled water.
Then, add approximately one tablespoon of AMACO® Gum Solution, or as much as needed to achieve good, drag-free brushability. The Gum Solution will help prevent the glaze from drying out too quickly and cracking.
