White Velvet Underglaze is a snow-white color that provides brightness and a clean (minty) look. At Cone 05, the color appears soft. It becomes softer at Cone 5 and has a slightly warmer tone while still maintaining its clean white appearance at Cone 10. Applying a clear glaze will enhance the underglaze color at all temperature levels.
Due to variations in the raw materials used in the production process, we recommend firing test tiles before using each new batch of color.
