Royal Blue Velvet Underglaze is a deep navy blue that offers rich, saturated color at Cone 05. The color deepens at Cone 5 and becomes almost black at Cone 10. Applying a clear glaze over it will significantly enhance the depth and intensity of the underglaze at all temperatures.
Due to variations in raw materials used in the manufacturing process, we recommend conducting test firings on small pieces (test tiles) before actual use for every new batch number.
