The color is vivid at Cone 05 and intensifies at Cone 5, becoming a fire-engine red with a slight sheen at Cone 10. A clear glaze will visibly enhance the underglaze color at all temperature levels.

For Radiant Red Velvet, we recommend using clear glaze code HF-10.

We recommend using HF-9 Zinc-Free Clear with underglazes to reduce the possibility of color shifting.

Typically, most underglazes, stains, and coloring oxides show their best colors when paired with a zinc-free clear glaze.
