Pearl Gray Velvet Underglaze is a silvery blue-gray that produces a bright, clean shade at Cone 05, deepening to a pewter tone at Cone 5. The color will then lighten and burn out at Cone 10. Applying a clear glaze will enhance the vibrancy of this underglaze at all firing temperatures.
Due to potential variations in raw materials between production batches, we recommend conducting a test firing (Test Tile) before using colors from each new batch number.
