Fires to Cone 5 (1207 ํC) or Cone 6 (1243 ํC)
Brushing application is recommended, apply at least 2-3 coats to achieve the sample effect.
Deep Sienna Speckle is a concentrated warm reddish-brown iron glaze with a translucent quality and dark speckles scattered throughout, resembling a reduction stoneware glaze surface.
For a darker, more dimensional color, a thicker application can be used. This glaze layers well with other Potter's Choice glazes.
This glaze contains black specks, so it should be thoroughly mixed to ensure even distribution of these specks and may cause spray gun nozzles to clog.
As this product is a dry-mix dipping bucket, the safety information and labeling differ from brushing glazes.
Please note that all dry-mix dipping glazes may present difficulties in layering. Dipping glazes behave differently than brushing glazes and should be thoroughly tested before full application to a piece.
