Chun Plum is a translucent pinkish-red glaze that, when applied to textured surfaces, produces a light tan breaking effect. This glaze mimics Asian copper reds but offers consistent and reliable color results in oxidation firing. It can be layered over other Potter's Choice glazes to add warm tones with hints of pink and red.
Because this dry-mix dipping bucket product is a powdered material, health information and warning labels differ from brushing glazes.
Note: All dry dipping glazes can be difficult to layer. The behavior of dipping glazes differs from brushing glazes, so thorough testing is recommended before applying them as layered glazes on actual pieces.
