Fire at Cone 5 (1207 ํC) or Cone 6 (1243 ํC)
Brushing application is recommended, apply at least 2-3 coats to achieve the sample effect.
PC-13 Serpentine Green is a semi-matte light green ceramic glaze with the special property that when applied to a textured surface, it creates a beautiful light blue color break.
It layers well with AMACO Celadons, other Potter’s Choice glazes, and Satin Matte glazes. However, if layered with highly fluid glazes, it may run during firing. Therefore, it is recommended to test all layered applications before using them on actual pieces.
Shake the bottle well before use. For best results, do not dilute with water. Apply 3 coats on Cone 04 bisque ware, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
Then fire the glaze at Cone 5–6.
Due to potential variations in raw materials between production batches, it is recommended to fire a test tile before using each new batch of glaze.
