KEANE Clay Toast This brown clay is specially designed to have excellent structural strength due to its combination of different sized fire-resistant fillers, which makes the clay stable and ideal for large-scale sculptures.
Wide firing range: Clay has a very wide firing temperature range, allowing for flexibility in glaze selection:
-
Bisque Firing at 1000°C (Cone 06)
-
Glaze Firing can be fired from 1100°C (Cone 03) to 1300°C (Cone 10).
Interesting post-fire color. The color of the piece after firing will change according to the firing atmosphere:
-
If burned in an atmosphere, oxidation will produce a light terracotta and warm brown color.
-
If burned in a reducing atmosphere, it produces a dark chocolate-cherry brown color with textured orange spots.
