PTRM-001 Ceramic trimming and carving tool set (8 pieces), also known as trimming tools or carving tools among potters.

The highlight of this set is that the blades are made of high-sharpness stainless steel flat strips, and the handles are covered with non-slip rubber. They are designed for "trimming the base of pieces on a potter's wheel" (Trimming) in the leather-hard stage and for "carving and sculpting" (Carving) model structures.

The 8 different head shapes have specific functions that help achieve precise planes and angles.

Additional information:

  • Best used with leather-hard clay: This tool set performs best when the clay is dry and set like a block of cheese (not soft and sticky, and not dry and dusty). The clay will come off in beautiful, smooth strips.

  • How to check sharpness: If these steel blades become dull after prolonged use, you can gently rub them with fine-grit wet sandpaper to restore their sharp cutting edge.
