Round Kiln Shelf / Batt A high-temperature refractory shelf designed to support ceramic pieces inside a kiln during firing.

Usage

  • Workpiece Support: Functions as a flat base to arrange pottery and ceramics for firing.
  • Maximizing Space: Stacked in multiple layers using kiln posts to utilize full kiln capacity.
  • Applying Kiln Wash: Coat the top surface with kiln wash prior to use to prevent melted glaze from sticking.

Maintenance

  • Prevent Thermal Shock: Allow shelves to cool naturally inside the kiln; avoid exposure to sudden temperature drops.
  • Clean Glaze Drips: Gently scrape away glaze drips using a scraper and reapply kiln wash as needed.
  • Proper Storage: Keep in a dry location and store on a flat, even surface to avoid breakage.
Care & Maintenance

The company offers free product replacement in the following cases

  1. Incorrect item shipped The product received does not match the details confirmed in the latest order.
  2. Defective, damaged, or unusable product The issue was caused by the manufacturer or occurred during transportation.

  • Please provide an unboxing video and report the issue within 7 days from the date of purchase for in-store purchases, or from the date the product was received for online orders. Please also provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order number.
  • The product must be unused and in its original/new condition.
  • If no receipt or proof of purchase is provided, the company reserves the right to refuse product replacement or refund.
