Usage

• Workpiece Support: Serves as a flat base to arrange pottery and ceramic pieces inside the kiln during firing.
• Maximizing Space: Stacked in multiple levels using kiln posts to optimize kiln volume and load capacity.
• Applying Kiln Wash: Coat the working surface with kiln wash to prevent dripped glaze from fusing to the shelf.

Maintenance

• Prevent Thermal Shock: Allow the shelf to cool naturally inside the kiln; avoid sudden contact with cold air or objects.
• Clean Glaze Drips: Carefully scrape off any glaze drips with a scraper and reapply kiln wash to the area.
• Proper Storage: Store in a dry area, either flat on an even surface or vertically in a secure rack to prevent cracking.
