Product Details

Stoneware glazes provide depth, fineness, and consistency for medium to high temperature fired pieces. Many glazes crackle when applied to textured surfaces, revealing secondary and hidden colors.

When used alone, stoneware glazes produce a wide range of beautiful shades. One coat allows the texture of the clay to show through, while two or three coats deepen the color.
Care & Maintenance

Mayco Stoneware glazes (such as Stoneware Classic, Matte, Gloss, Crystal) are designed to fire from Cone 5 to Cone 10 (approximately 1,186°C - 1,285°C in an electric kiln).
