Its thick and soft sheep hair can hold a large amount of glaze, allowing for a smooth and even application across the entire surface quickly, without leaving thick brush marks on the piece.

  • Washing & Background in Art: In watercolor or acrylic painting, it is used to wet paper for the Wet-on-Wet technique or to create smooth and even backgrounds over large areas.

  • Dusting and Air Bubble Removal: It can be gently used to clean fine clay dust from leatherhard or bisque-fired pieces without damaging the intricate details of the sculpted work.
