Fires at Cone 5 (1207 ํC) or Cone 6 (1243 ํC)
Brushing application is recommended, with at least 2-3 coats for optimal effects.

Frosted Melon is a highly unique glaze with properties that can create interesting effects. When applied thickly, a large beige float layer appears, which "cracks" to reveal the green underglaze, while maintaining a smooth, satin finish. This pale glaze is beautiful on both smooth and textured surfaces.

The color of the glaze may vary due to iron fuming from other pieces in the kiln during firing.

As dry-mix dipping bucket products are in powder form, the materials and safety information, including labels, differ from brush-on glazes.

Note: All dry dipping glazes may be difficult to layer as they behave differently from brush-on applications. Thorough testing is recommended before layering on an entire piece.

* This glaze series is food-safe and suitable for dinnerware.
