PMEA-107 Trimming Spinner / Clay Disc / Centering Press Tool is a tiny but mighty accessory for trimming the foot of pottery on a potter's wheel.

• Main Use (Stabilizes and Distributes Pressure): Used by placing it on the bottom of pottery (such as plates, bowls, cups) during the upside-down trimming process on the potter's wheel. The potter uses one finger to press down on this tool instead of directly on the clay.

• Prevents the Foot from Puncturing or Dinting: The metal disc helps distribute the finger pressure evenly across the bottom of the piece, reducing the risk of pressing too hard and causing the foot to dent, deform, or crack while the wheel is spinning at speed.

Brief Usage Instructions

Invert the pottery onto the potter's wheel, center it precisely. Place this tool exactly in the center of the foot. Then, gently press down on the tool with your finger and begin trimming the foot as usual.
