PKINF-208 S-Hooks for Ceramic Firing are high-temperature resistant tools used to hang small ceramic pieces such as earrings, pendants, necklaces, or decorative items for glaze firing in a kiln, preventing direct contact between the pieces and the kiln shelf.
Instructions for Use
-
Thread the wire through the piece: Hook one end of the S-hook into the pre-drilled hole of the glazed ceramic piece.
-
Hang on a refractory rod: Hang the other end of the S-hook onto a high-temperature resistant wire rod (Bead Tree / Bead Rack) or a hanging rod installed on refractory supports within the kiln.
-
Space and fire: Ensure adequate spacing between each piece to prevent them from touching. Then, close the kiln and proceed with glaze firing as usual.
