The spray gun in the picture you sent is a pneumatic spray gun ( Spray Gun) with a cup on top ( Gravity Feed) . It is used for spraying glossy coating, paint, or ceramic coating. The main steps of use are as follows:
1. Prepare equipment
- Spray gun (as shown in the picture)
- Air pump or compressed air source (should have a water/humidity filter)
- Coating or paint (adjust thickness-liquidity as recommended by the manufacturer)
- Protective equipment such as chemical vapor masks , gloves , and safety glasses
2. Mixing and applying the coating solution
- People or filter the coating solution to make it smooth and free from clogging.
- Pour the coating solution into the top cup of the sprayer and close the lid tightly.
3. Spray gun settings
- Connect the sprayer to the air line from the air pump.
- Adjust the air pressure (usually 25–35 PSI depending on the type of liquid)
- Adjust the 3 control buttons :
- Air Adjust button
- Fluid Adjust button
- Fan Pattern Adjustment Button
4. Spray coating
- Test spraying on paper or a test piece first to see the smoothness of the mist.
- Hold the spray gun about 15–20 cm away from the workpiece .
- Move your hand steadily and press the trigger continuously.
- Spray alternately in vertical or horizontal directions to ensure a thorough and not too thick coating.
5. Cleaning after use
- Pour out the remaining coating solution.
- Wash with thinner or clean water (depending on the type of solution).
