Mudtools "Dragtool" Original Wide Mouth is a sculpting and shaping tool designed to quickly remove large amounts of clay. It is ideal for shaping and texturing sculptures or large vessels.

How to use

Prepare the workpiece: Use on clay that is leather-hard to allow for effective scraping and easy control of pressure.
Drag to shape or create patterns: Hold the handle firmly, press the wire head onto the workpiece, and "drag" to scrape off excess clay, or drag with a consistent rhythm to create deep, textured surface patterns.

Key benefits

Wide Mouth for deep clay removal: The wide and open wire loop allows for large amounts of clay to be scraped off in a single pass, without the removed clay getting clogged in the wire head.
Sharp and flexible stainless steel blade: Made from high-quality, durable stainless steel, it can smoothly scrape through thick clay or clay mixed with grog without distorting.
Green polymer handle for a comfortable, non-slip grip: The handle is covered with a unique flat, thick polymer rubber, providing a firm grip that won't slip when pulling and scraping large amounts of clay, and helping to reduce finger fatigue.
