The HM-4S Square Clay Hole Punch, with a 4 mm diameter, is a specialized tool for punching precise, sharp, and uniformly square-shaped holes or openings in clay pieces.

Primary Uses

• Perforating Openwork Designs: Used for punching through the walls of vessels or clay slabs at the leather-hard stage to create openwork patterns, such as light openings in ceramic lamps, ventilation holes in aromatherapy oil burners, or geometric patterns on vases.

• Punching Drainage and Wiring Holes: Used to create square drainage holes at the bottom of plant pots, or holes for threading wires/cables for ceramic items like table lamps and decorative wall hangings.

• Creating Incised Textured Patterns: In addition to punching all the way through, it can also be used to apply light pressure (without punching through) to create square indented marks, 8 mm in size, for adding textured patterns to the surface of a piece, giving it depth.
