Instructions for Use

1. Place the polishing machine on a flat, dry table surface, then press down on the rubber base to secure it firmly to the surface.

2. Ensure that the speed control switch (the dial at the bottom) is in the off position before plugging it into the power outlet. Check to make sure the top polishing pad is securely attached.

3. Turn on the machine by turning the power switch dial and adjusting the speed level. Start at a low speed, then gradually adjust the RPM to suit the size of the ceramic piece. Recommendation: Use medium speed for small pieces; start at a low speed for large pieces or rougher surfaces for safety.

4. Hold the ceramic piece securely with both hands, apply light pressure, and keep the piece in constant motion. Place the bottom of the piece onto the rotating polishing pad with light to moderate pressure. Slowly rotate or circle the piece in small circular motions to ensure an even finish on all sides and to prevent localized wear on the polishing pad. Remember to use your fingers to check the smoothness all around.

5. Upon completion, turn the dial to the off position and unplug the power cord immediately.

6. Wipe clean any clay dust or debris on the machine using a damp cloth. (Do not wash the machine directly with water.)
