Celaton Clay is a high-quality stoneware clay with unique characteristics, suitable for hand-building, sculpture, and forming techniques that require precision.

  • Clay Characteristics: Before firing, the clay body is dark gray; after firing, it turns a creamy white. The clay contains fine sand, allowing it to retain moisture for an extended period.
  • Suitable Applications: Suitable for hand-building and sculpture; can be used for hollow and thin-walled pieces, as well as slab building and wheel throwing.

Oxidation Firing:

  • Firing Temperature: 1200°C
  • Firing Shrinkage: 14%
  • Water Absorption: 0.1%

Reduction Firing:

  • Firing Temperature: 1280°C
  • Firing Shrinkage: 14%
  • Water Absorption: 0.0%
Care & Maintenance

The company offers free product exchanges in the following cases:
1. Incorrect product delivery, not matching the details of the latest confirmed order (type and quantity)
2. The clay contains contaminants that are not naturally occurring in the clay itself.

Product Exchange Conditions
• Report issues via LINE: @potteryclay or Facebook: Pottery Clay Thailand
• Attach a video of the package unboxing and report the issue within 7 days from the date of in-store purchase or the date of receiving the product (for online orders), along with proof of purchase such as a receipt or order number.
• Products must be unused and in new condition.
• In cases where there is no receipt or proof of purchase, the company reserves the right not to accept product exchanges or returns.
Shipping Details
  • Orders from 1-10 kg are shipped via post every Monday–Saturday.
  • Orders of 10 kg or more are shipped every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Celaton Clay

"Selatan clay" is a stoneware clay body that is dark grey before firing and turns creamy white after firing. The clay has a fine-grained sand mix, retains moisture for a long time, and is suitable for sculpting. It can be used for hollow and thin-walled pieces and is well-suited for slab building.
