AMACO DL-25 Coastline, from the Dipping & Layering Glazes (DL) series (powder glaze for mixing with water for dipping and layering, for medium fire temperatures Cone 5-6)

Color Characteristics and Effects

Surface Texture and Hue: A glossy, deep navy blue glaze.
Flow and Dimensional Effect: Where the glaze is thick, it breaks into lighter blue highlights.
Application: Excellent for textured work and layers well with other glazes in the DL series.

Technical Information and Mixing (Dipping & Layering Spec)

Product Form: Dry Dipping Material, 10 lbs. Mix with 1 gallon (3.8 liters) of distilled water to yield approximately 1.25 gallons (or about 10 pints) of ready-to-use glaze.
Recommended Specific Gravity: The recommended Specific Gravity for mixing is 1.52
Dipping Method: Dip bisque ware (Bisque Cone 04) into the glaze for approximately 1–3 seconds, then remove and shake off/pour off excess glaze.
