CR-54 is a glossy purple glaze that, when fired, "crawls" and gathers into raised patterns of varying sizes and shapes. The result is a surface rich in unpredictable, organic patterns, giving each piece a unique charm in both touch and visual appeal.

Application Instructions

Apply 1-4 coats to Cone 04 bisque.
Allow each coat to dry almost completely, but not to the point of excessive cracking.
Crawl glazes develop small cracks as they dry; handle pieces with care.
For increased durability, apply over AMACO Celadon glaze or underglaze before firing.

Results

Multiple coats will produce larger glaze clusters and more cracking.
Thin coats will yield fine, bead-like speckles.
Fire to Cone 5-6 for best results.
