Turquoise is a satin turquoise-green glaze that provides intense color and beautiful effects in high-fire. It also fires well at mid-range temperatures. It was originally part of the Sahara line.
Fires at Cone 5 (1207°C) or Cone 6 (1243°C)
- Apply by brushing, using at least 2-3 coats to achieve the sample color.
- The finished glaze has a relatively vibrant, true-to-color background.
- Convenient to use as it's already mixed.
- Suitable for both oxidation and reduction atmospheres.
