Violet Velvet Underglaze is a soft plum purple that is soft at Cone 05. The color deepens at Cone 5 and becomes a deep lilac and begins to burn out at Cone 10. Applying a clear glaze will enhance the vibrancy of the underglaze at all temperatures.
Due to variations in raw materials during production, we recommend performing a test firing on test tiles before using a new batch of color.
