Fire at cone 5 (1207 °C) or cone 6 (1243 °C).
Brushing application is recommended, apply at least 2-3 coats to achieve the sample effect.
This glaze, similar to Shino glazes from Asian wood-firing, has an orange-peel-like texture and a warm brown tone. When layered with other glazes in the Potter's Choice series, it helps create various surface effects.
As this product is a dry dipping glaze, the materials used are in powder form, so safety information and labeling will differ from brushing glazes.
Please note that all dipping glazes can be challenging for layering due to their different behavior compared to brushing glazes. Thorough testing is recommended before applying to actual pieces.
