Firing range: Cone 5 (1207°C) or Cone 6 (1243°C)
Application: Brushing is recommended. Apply at least 2–3 coats to achieve the effect shown in samples.
Lustrous Jade is a glossy, opaque glaze that produces a smooth, even green finish, reminiscent of the gemstone it is named after. It layers well with other glazes in the Potter’s Choice series.
Due to the powdered nature of the dry-mix version used for dipping buckets, the material characteristics differ, and therefore the safety information and labeling are different from those of brushing glazes.
Note: Dry dipping glazes can be difficult to layer. They behave differently from brushing glazes, so thorough testing is recommended before applying layered finishes to a full piece.
This glaze is food safe and suitable for use on tableware.
