Designed to create a raised, high-texture cracked surface. The thicker the application, the more pronounced the pattern and dimension will be. Mudcrack can be applied directly to bisque or used in conjunction with other mid-range glazes.
Cone 6 oxidation (Figure 1): White Mudcrack is a highly textured glaze, creating a raised and crazed surface reminiscent of cracked earth. The thicker the glaze application, the more prominent the raised texture becomes.
Cone 10 reduction (Figure 2): The raised surface will flatten out and become smoother, while the color remains white.
