Amaco Celadon Series Glaze, 472 ml
This 100% intermixable Celadon glaze creates a translucent, deep gray color. The glaze flows and accumulates in crevices, enhancing textured pottery, much like the ancient glazes it is designed to emulate.
* Fire at Cone 5 (1207 ํC) or Cone 6 (1243 ํC)
We recommend applying the glaze by brushing at least 2-3 coats to achieve the desired effect shown in the examples.
- If you are enchanted by legendary glazes like celadon, Amaco offers this glaze as well.
- Celadon glazes are translucent and become darker in recesses or concave areas of the piece.
- Ideal for pieces with uneven surfaces as it helps to highlight the surface texture.
- Can be applied over glazes from different series that fire at the same temperature.
- Within the Celadon series itself, glazes can also be layered over each other.
