Yellow Velvet Underglaze is a very bright lemon yellow at Cone 05. It stays bright but loses some color intensity at Cone 5, and begins to fade at Cone 10. A clear glaze over this yellow will intensify the color slightly, but the change will be less dramatic at higher temperatures.
TIP: Due to potential variations in raw materials between production batches, we recommend conducting firing tests on test tiles before using each new batch of glaze.
