PPBR-004 Chinese Round Brush

PPBR-004 Round Chinese Brush is a natural hair brush with excellent water retention properties and a sharp, pointed tip. In ceramics, it is popular for freehand painting and applying underglaze or overglaze.

Applications

• Drawing patterns and brushstrokes for outlining: With its fine, sharp tip, ceramic artists can use it to create fluid lines that vary in thickness and thinness depending on the pressure applied, such as floral patterns, leaves, Chinese characters, or sharp outlines of Thai traditional patterns.
• Coloring and spot glazing: The round and thick base of the brush can hold a large amount of glaze, allowing for smooth and continuous application of color onto bisque ware, resulting in a uniform finish without frequent re-dipping.
