Fire to Cone 5 (1207 ํC) or Cone 6 (1243 ํC)
Brushing application is recommended, apply at least 2-3 coats to achieve the sample effect.
PC-18 Tuscan Blue is a semi-matte dark blue ceramic glaze. When applied to textured surfaces, it creates a beautiful breaking effect with lighter blue to moss green tones.
It layers well with AMACO Celadons, other Potter's Choice glazes, and the Satin Matte series. However, if layered with highly flowing glazes, it may flow excessively during firing. Therefore, it is recommended to test all layered combinations before applying to actual pieces.
Shake well before use. For best results, do not dilute the glaze with water. Apply 3 brush coats to bisque-fired ware at Cone 04, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
Then, glaze fire to Cone 5–6.
As raw materials may vary between batches, it is recommended to fire a test tile before using glaze from each new batch.
